The only way to build a company fit for the future is to build one that's fit for human beings...
I recently had a chance to read an FT article on Professor Gary Hamel's newly published book "The Future of Management." Amazon.com has a video clip in which the professor enthusiastically addresses that the only way to build a company fit for the future is to build one that's fit for human beings. The short streaming video, lasting only for 91 seconds, would invite you to go through a thought process if you were, like myself, one of managers who had thought about or struggled with, probably many times, how to get the best performance out of your team members. This will be an interesting reading, although I do not necessarily expect the solutions there.
