を読んだ。すごいと思った。これ程奥深く幅広い知識と経験を縦横無尽に散りばめた「奇知」に富む本には、そう滅多には出合えないのではないか、というのが正直な感想である。哲学者 カール・ポパーに心酔する現役トレーダーが、自らの経験・確率論・哲学・経済学・心理学・認知科学・古典等々の引き出しから次々と材料を取り出して、 Randomnessを軸に持論を展開していく。また、一般に重要だと思われているニュースや「情報」が、トレーディングの観点からは、如何に意味の無い 単なる「ノイズ」であるかを説得力ある形で述べている。議論が広範に及ぶ為、浅薄な自分には理解の及ばない部分も多くあると思うが、とにかく常識に囚われ ない視点が新鮮且つユニークであり、確率やリスクに関して、今までとは全く異なる視点が得られた。新著The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable
の発売が間もなくであるが楽しみである。My take is that you would not come across a book like this with encompassing so a wide variety of topics from the disciplines ranging from statistics, philosophy, mathematics, economics, psychology, etc., to literature, and needless to say his enormous experience as a trader in discussing the main theme of "randomness." A very unconventional, unique, and definitely thought-provoking book which I pleasantly felt lucky to have had an opportunity to read, even though I am not sure if I understood more than 70% of the contents due to its breadth in coverage. Great book!
